Our client is a manufacturer of electronic, electrical and fiber optic interconnection systems, designing solutions (i.e. smartphones, home appliances, connected cars) that make life easier. The client had a need for engineering leadership to improve new development project execution.
Messina was engaged to fill a Senior Director of Product Development role to lead our client in developing processes and systems to help meeting new product release objectives and create an environment of entrepreneurship and new technology development. Our Director of Product Development was an accomplished inventor with 15 design and utility patents, expertise in solving tough technical challenges using Six Sigma and statistical analysis and highly proficient in talent acquisition, mentoring and managing individuals and teams.
